truth

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV

Oh Well

I have gone back and looked at this over and over again. I just could not bring myself to attach the papers to the base. It just didn't feel right. It still doesn't. Its lacking ... but I am leaving it alone. I made it with an image a friend sent me in an image swap. It just 'looked' like Becky. I hope she likes it anyway:).

  1. I think it's cute. I find that when something I'm working on needs something, I can always turn to flowers. Some flowers would look nice, but I like it alot, just the way it is!

  2. I honestly thought about flowers or ribbon ... but thought when she put it in her school bag it might snag on something and rip off. I was trying to keep it user freindly, lol.

  3. Heather, I've made a few journals and it's true... if you put too many 3-D items, they just get in the way if you plan to use it. This looks great! If you wanted to add flowers, I'd stick with the flatter ones. She'll love this, so no worries!
