I MADE NOT ONLY ONE CARD TODAY, BUT 6!!! How did that happen ?? I shall tell you. I had planned on getting my foods prepared and halfway ready for tomorrow. Some like the mac and cheese, casseroles and such can be made in advance then adding the last ingredients and baking the next day. I bought a huge 5 lb block of sharp cheddar cheese at Sams Sunday. I already had mild, mozzarella, and a parm mix ((I use a lot of cheesed in my mac and cheese:) )). Well, I cut it open and was getting ready to shred it in my food processor. I looked at it and took a double take. MOLD!!! All over the end of it. I was so SO ill!!! I called Tommy who could not drive all the way there .. he was working after all :). He called Sams who said they would take it back ((your darn tootin your gonna take it back!!)) He took it back after we ate dinner and I still have not gotten anytihng cooked. :) lol. Guess I will hit it early tomorrow morning:). I did get 2 pies made, so not all was lost.
Back to the card making ... Card Makin Mamas on cafe mom is having a little contest this week. Every day she is posting a new challenge and if you participate every day you are eligible to win a prize. I have done them so far, but today was to make as many cards as you could with a 12 x 12 piece of paper. My mind was not working very creatively, so I took the simple route and made 6 cards from the same 12 x 12 pp. All bellas too:)!!! I only showed 3 pics because the others are duplicates. I am 'good' with them. I had fun making them, and that is all that counts, right?!?!
Hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving tomorrow. I cant wait to eat:) YUMM!!! :)
All of these cards are GRRRRREAT!!! I really love red and black together...so chic!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your cheese mishap! I hate it when those things happen>:o( Sooo frustrating!!! Hey, at least you were able to bake two pies and create six gorgeous cards:o) Right? Sounds extremely productive to me!
I hope you and your family have a glorious Thanksgiving!!!
Hugs!
