truth

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV

Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree

EVERYTHING is already screaming CHRISTMAS. Stores are already stocked and decked out with Christmas decor. Music is playing and the Christmas commercials are all starting. Toys, Toys, Toys! I was so excited for Thanksgiving and turkey. The smells and the beautiful colors of Fall. Are we skipping that this year?? Christmas is my most favorite holiday. It is a celebration of the birth of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I enjoy everything about it .. but it is turning more and more commercial every year and becoming more materialized. That makes me sad. I will still wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate. If you see me walking through the mall or walmart with my fingers in my ears singing LA LA LA LA !!! You will know why ;)!

I got to play with my new glorious skin white copic ((I will have to add to my collection after trying one. They are great!!! )). Carol also sent me Christmas Red Stickles ... Bella has neveah looked betta! :o). I used my snowflake CB folder and heat embossed some of the snowflakes with an embossing pen and polysparkle embossing powder. It was my first attempt but i like it a lot and will try it again. I also added the polysparkle to the green tree branches. The rest of my image was colored with my bic makrers. I still love those :o).
