Add a little magic to your day

Edited: my daughter informed me this morning my first pic was not as 'pretty' as the card (colors were dull in the first pic) SOOO I had to fix that :)

I LOVE this bella!!! ((underwateragoddessabella)) Maybe it is because I loved the little mermaid as a child, and now it is one of Hannah's favorites. Since she was 3 in fact. She LOVES mermaids and is usually drawing them or writing stories about them. I guess she loves them almost as much as cats:). I used the sketch from the truly scrumptious blog for my card. I loved LOVED that sketch. I had colored this image well before the kids got sick and lost it in my stash. i had free time waiting for my hubby to get in from work so I straightened up my craft table and poof, there it was:)! All happy and saying 'use me!'. So i did. :) I was unsure of the colors, and tried to find something that would match her and make her stand out. I chose the solid cs first then went on a hunt for what would work for the patterned paper. That was HARD. I had all but given up when I flipped through my small stack of handmade papers. I was so happy that it matched her so well. I found some RAKed ribbon and my bella sentiment I bought well before this bella came out. She comes with the same sentiment, only stacked and in a different font. I added bling EVERYWHERE because she just needed to be bliinged:). Side note: Hannah thinks 'bling' is a funny word. When she and her brother play and he is her 'baby' his name is bling bling, lol!!! OK, So the bling is added because i also made this card for the Spoon Full of Sugar challenge to use GEMS. I do not like to mix challenges too much. This one just fell together that way. I had several other cards made with bling this week .. this was just the blingiest. OK, I have not had my coffee and I am saying bling too oooooo ooo much:) So i had better stop talking while I am ahead. Hope you all have a beautiful weekend. I am soooooooo happy for the weekend!!!
