For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV

ICS #20

I can not believe this is my second week on the ICS design team! I can not tell you how much fun I am having and what a great team we have there. The girls have been so nice and always so uplifting of one another. I, for one, LOVED this sketch. I loved it so much I made 2 cards for it ;). I was over excited about making the team that I made a few cards right away. I received an email from Dawn last week telling us we had a wonderful sponsor, Whimsie Doodles, a BRAND NEW company that was started by Melyssa Connolly. She has started Whimsie Doodles, a digital stamp and cutting file store, on etsy. If you stop by her blog, you can find out how to get the turtle stamp below for FREE and find out about her Design Team Call!!!! I went straight to my room and created another card. I thought these little turtles were adorable and so much fun to work with. Be sure to participate this week, you do not want to miss out on the chance to win these cuties!!! My Whimsie doodle card was colored with my bic markers, stickles, and glossy accents. The papers were all scraps, the dew drops were RAKed to me a while back.

My second card was my actual first card. I used a RAKed Riley image by Hanna Stamps. I love Riley, dont you? He just looks so happy in his hammock! I want to trade places with him for a little while:). He is also colored with my bic markers and stickles. The papers are by American Crafts. I used some felt embellishments to finish off the card.

I do hope you, my friends and readers, get to participate this week. I can't wait to see all of your cards!
