And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. . Romans 8:28

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV
Jesus is our soon coming King
James 5:8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh."

Blog Hop Winner!!!

Good Night everyone! I hope you had a wonderful day today. The Lord opened my eyes to a few things that I have been doing wrong and need to work on. I really do love him and want to do all things in my life to honor him and give him glory. I want to act in love first ... and not in self or just jump to action. Most importantly when it comes to my children and when they push my buttons. I know it is possible for this strong willed stubborn woman to act more the age of a 3o year old and less like a 2 year old when it comes to arguing over toys or pj's, lol! UGH!

On to the reason for htis post :) Carolyn has chosen the grand prize winner of the blog candy from the Busy Beauties Blog hop as well as the winners from each blog. Be sure to check in and see if you won. You can find the list here.

The Grand Prize winner is: TheNeon:

The winner from my blog is Susan at Congratulations!!!!! Be sure to Send your email and she will get your prize sent to you right away.

  1. I think you are very brave and honest to talk about this on your blog. I totally hear what you are saying. As the mom of 13, know that sometimes we moms get angry out of frustration and we don't always handle things the way we should but we still love our children dearly and want what is best for them.

I feel almost compelled to tell you that my son died 2 weeks and 4 days ago and there are so many things I wish I'd done differently. Not that I was a horrible mom. I wasn't. I loved my boy with all my heart and soul. My point is that life is short. Make the most of it with your children. Love them, hold them dear. Every moment is a blessing.

  2. You have those PJ arguments too? Now I feel better! I find myself doing many different things with Jude, there is an 11 year gap after all. I find myself being more lenient, when my first son was born I was so anal. Don't let him play in the dirt, don't let his hair get messed up, and never ever pick him up after a tantrum! Jude, gets three baths a day, sometimes four because he is free to play in the dirt if he wishes, of course in moderation since he is only 10 months old. He may use his fingers for food, that was never allowed with Christian! When he pitches his fits, I sometimes (and I know this is really bad) let him have his way and hug and hold him so he forgives me for not letting him have it in the first place! Maybe it's because of the scare we had of almost losing him, maybe it's because he may be my last baby. I don't know, but I feel ya on having patience! Have a blessed day! It's a beautiful Monday!

  3. Ahhh, the plight of a mother! Hang in there! And adorable card, BTW!!!

  4. You are a GREAT mother!!!!! We all have our moments, and we are not perfect, but we always try our best:o)

Your card is beyond adorable!!!! I love him in the green bunny costume:o) I let out a chuckle when I saw him...poor thing looks absolutley miserable!

    Love you!!!
