Anyone have one of those pins when you were younger that said "Kiss me I'm Irish"?? I did?? Where did I get it ????? Not so sure, lol. I also had one that had a frog holding a pink heart with the words "kiss me" on it (I think). Maybe I was obsessed with getting my first kiss? I was 15 if my memory serves me correctly. (I'm not counting the kindergarten kiss that a mean boy named Scott walked up and unexpectedly planted on me, lol!!!)
Anyway ~ these cards are for today because I don't want to get pinched and I wanted to tell you all Happy Saint Pactrick's Day! We will be doing our normal thing today, school and maybe a little fun. I remember when I was young the teachers would turn over all the desks, throw papers everywhere and you name it while we were on the playground. Then there would be a note and little chocolate coins from the leprechauns. It was such a fun memory. I hope I can do SOMETHING for the kids to make it memorable.
HOW do I continue to jump off subject?
Back to KISSING!
I colored up this Runway Beauty in green, made her hair a brownish orange and added the fun Kiss Me I'm Irish sentiment. I love this image, don't you???
I used the Bonus sketch over at 2 sketches 4 you for this card.
I chose to keep this card uber simple. I used this Cartwheeling Clover image and a sentiment from Clearly Wordsworth. This card will be entered into the Dare U 2 digi challenge: no patterned paper. The next is also super simple and is using the images ShamROCK, ShamROCK Groupie and ShamROCK sentiment.
I am entering all of these cards to the Digital Tuesday challenge: Green or St. Pactrick's day
Don't forget!!!
You still have time to enter the BUSY BEAUTIES GO GREEN Challenge!!!
There is a GORGEOUS prize package to be won!
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. . Romans 8:28
truth
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV
