So Kiss Me!!!

Anyone have one of those pins when you were younger that said "Kiss me I'm Irish"?? I did?? Where did I get it ????? Not so sure, lol. I also had one that had a frog holding a pink heart with the words "kiss me" on it (I think). Maybe I was obsessed with getting my first kiss? I was 15 if my memory serves me correctly. (I'm not counting the kindergarten kiss that a mean boy named Scott walked up and unexpectedly planted on me, lol!!!)

Anyway ~ these cards are for today because I don't want to get pinched and I wanted to tell you all Happy Saint Pactrick's Day! We will be doing our normal thing today, school and maybe a little fun. I remember when I was young the teachers would turn over all the desks, throw papers everywhere and you name it while we were on the playground. Then there would be a note and little chocolate coins from the leprechauns. It was such a fun memory. I hope I can do SOMETHING for the kids to make it memorable.
HOW do I continue to jump off subject?
Back to KISSING!

I colored up this Runway Beauty in green, made her hair a brownish orange and added the fun Kiss Me I'm Irish sentiment. I love this image, don't you???
I used the Bonus sketch over at 2 sketches 4 you for this card.

I chose to keep this card uber simple. I used this Cartwheeling Clover image and a sentiment from Clearly Wordsworth. This card will be entered into the Dare U 2 digi challenge: no patterned paper. The next is also super simple and is using the images ShamROCK, ShamROCK Groupie and ShamROCK sentiment.

I am entering all of these cards to the Digital Tuesday challenge: Green or St. Pactrick's day

Don't forget!!!
You still have time to enter the BUSY BEAUTIES GO GREEN Challenge!!!
There is a GORGEOUS prize package to be won!

All SMILES

Hi everyone!!! I am so glad it is almost Friday!!! This week has been odd, not sure how to take it, lol! I hope we will have a restful and fun weekend ... hopefully my DH will not have to work. :/

The first card is created using the sketch provided at Eat Sleep Stamp today. The kids were 'happily' doing their schoolwork when I slipped away to write down my Thursday challenges hoping to have time to create. When I logged on to this particular blog, I was so shocked to see My name and My card as her featured for last weeks sketch! That hot flushed blushing feeling came over me (so funny!) and I just smiled. My day was officially made! I chose to use my Queen for a Day image for this weeks card. She is a digi image and can be found in my shop, Fresh Brewed Designs. I also created this card using the challenge provided at a new challenge blog called I Love Digis. My wonderful friends Dee and Callie are members there and I am so happy for them! The other challenges I am entering this card to are Crafty Creations: Stitching, Digital Tuesday: Girly, Papertake Weekly: Gingham or checks (ribbon and paper) and The Pink Elephant: Ribbon.

The next little card is featuring another of my little digi images, Rainy Day Butterfly. The challenges for this card include:
Spoon Full of Suger: Springtime
Digital Tuesday: Girly
Belli Challenge: Butterflies or Dragonflies
Crafty Creations: Stitching
Get Sketchy sketch
Our Creative Corner: Something old but new from stash (3 year old paper never cut... :/)

Moving Slow...

It has been a Mondy kind of day, but the sun finally poked through the clouds and everyones moods have lifted. This morning my son woke with a low fever and headache. I let him rest in the living room while Hannah and I started school. When I went to check on him, he told me God said Hello to him 3 times. I said, 'Really? how?' he said with blinking light. I had no idea what he meant. A few minutes later he said "hello God", then to me "Mama, he did it again". I then rememberd a long time ago we were sitting at the table having school when the sun peeked brightly through the gloomy clouds. It was so bright and filled the entire room with light. I told the kids God had told us hello. I guess they remember things we seem to forget ourselves. That was a nice thing to think about everytime the room grew bright. Now the sun is out, no clouds and God is shining down on us. :)
I have a few cards to share with you today

It's a BEAUTIFUL Mornin'

Welcome to the Busy Beauties Boutique Blog Hop!!!
If you came here from KELLY's blog and have already commented on her BEAUTIFUL work, then you are in the right place. IF not, go back a few steps and start with BARBARA. For those of you who are in the right place, then read on!!! :)

I am so excited to share some of these GORGEOUS images with you today. When I got the email with the January releases, I could not pick my jaw up off the floor. They are a mix of cute, fun and fab!!! Thomas and Carolyn really went all out this time!!! Notice I said "and Carolyn"?? Carolyn has been hiding behind her talent and has finally shared some of her very own art with us!!!

For this hop ~We will run the hop through the weekend, and winners will be selected on Sunday night, January 10th. ~There will be one grand prize winner of three digis of his/her choice and a winner from each blog to win an image of his/her choice. An added prize will be awarded to one person who leaves a comment on each blog...that person will be able to either choose five images from the store or join us in our February New Release Blog Hop; in which case, he/she will receive all the images for that particular release.

Now on to my cards. I created the first one using the 2S4Y sketch. I loved the sketch when I saw it and had several ideas for it. After I got my Runway Beauty all colored, I knew she would be perfect for it!!! I chose a brown and red scheme and added a funky ribbon that I hand stitched and added the felt and acrylic heart embellies. I really think this card is a mix of fun, sexy and pretty all in one. I am actually proud of this card. I am not good at working with ribbons, but I love how this turned out!

Now on to the last card I will be sharing with you today. This card was created using the image Hot Stuff! Don't you just LOVE it?!?! Lol!!! I kept this one clean and simple. I plan to give this one to my hubby for all the work he has put into doing the Wii fit and trying to be healthier. He started off with a Wii age of 54, then 44, and now he is 34. This is all within 2 weeks. I told him the other day he will be in his 20's in no time! ;) LOL! I have actually enjoyed it myself. HELLOOOOO!!! (in the voice of Robin Williams in Mrs. Doubtfire)

I trust you all had a wonderful Saturday. I did for the most part. I am not jacked up on coffee and could not wait until the morning to post. I knew if I did I may not have time anyway. Sooooooo this is me, all goofy. Wonna know why???????????? Because I am SO TIRED!!! lol!!! I can hardly stand myself. Do you remember those days in High School when you would get home from school, even if it had been only one hour since you had seen them, you were calling your best friend and talking on the phone well into the night? Well, last night I was 16 again. Sigh. I thought I missed those days;). lol. Kidding! I don't remember talking that long to anyone .... ever really. I had the most fun and laughed, cried, stunk like sweat under one arm (the one holding the phone) lol!!! See, I told you I am nuts and sharing EVERYTHING! I have very few friends in my life that have touched my heart in a way that I just knew God had sent them to me. It was like the V8 smack in the noggin obvious; I felt that way from day one with this wonderful lady. She inspired me to draw this image today and I just HAD to go ahead and create a card with it. I am adding it to her VERY LATE birthday present. i found a few challenges today that I am entering this to. One is for Crazy 4 Challenges: an easel card, the other is for Digital Tuesdays: flowers and the sketch is from Card Patterns. I had a blast creating this card.

I do hope you love it Mrs C. and know how much you mean to me. I am such a sap! lol!!! I sound like an in love schoolgirl. Trust me, it is all the coffee and lack of sleep .. tomorrow I will wake up and reread this and say to myself "you dummy!" lol! I do love ya though!!! :o)

This image will be added to Fresh Brewed Designs soon. Cant wait to see what you think about it.
