And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. . Romans 8:28

truth

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV
Jesus is our soon coming King
James 5:8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh."

Head on over to Freshly Brewed Challenges and play along:)

My card was inspired by my pastors message this past Sunday. The scripture he read:

Song of Solomon 5:2 I sleep, but my heart waketh: it is the voice of my beloved that knocketh, saying, Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew, and my locks with the drops of the night.
Song of Solomon 5:3 I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them?
Song of Solomon 5:4 My beloved put in his hand by the hole of the door, and my bowels were moved for him.
Song of Solomon 5:5 I rose up to open to my beloved; and my hands dropped with myrrh, and my fingers with sweet smelling myrrh, upon the handles of the lock.
Song of Solomon 5:6 I opened to my beloved; but my beloved had withdrawn himself, and was gone: my soul failed when he spake: I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer.

He preached about Jesus knocking at the door of our hearts. Our beloved waits for us outside the door gently knocking. What are we doing? Pretending we don't hear? Waiting for the 'right moment'? Maybe it is not him? (but when you think that, always think, is that something Satan would do? If it has Gods love in it, you better believe it is God. Satan would NEVER tell us to do ANYTHING to better or closer our walk with Christ). Do we continue to give him excuses when he calls to us? (I am guilty) Do we listen for his call with our whole heart? Do we obey when he calls? He is a gentleman. He knocks gently and waits .. but not forever. She opened the door to find her beloved gone. She could not find him, she called and got no answer. I do not want that to be me. I want to listen when God calls, I want him to live in my heart forever. I hope this scripture opened your eyes a little and touched your heart and gave you a desire to follow Christ more... I know it did me. God has amazing plans for me, my husband, my children ... IF I follow and give him control and heed to his call.

Here are a few more scriptures I found that I hope encourages you and touches your life.

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Luke 12:36 "Be like men who are waiting for their master when he returns from the wedding feast, so that they may immediately open the door to him when he comes and knocks.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.

John 10:3 "To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

Have a blessed day.
