truth

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV

Where does the time go???

Alice in Wonderland...
as a child I remember watching the Disney cartoon very clearly. My favorite parts were where she grew and shrank. I often wondered what those things tasted like :). My most un-favorite part was the little cartoon where the baby oysters were eaten. If I could have gotten a hold of that walrus, he would have been a dead man. It angered me so!!!

When I drew the images for Alice in Wonderland just around a year ago, I had all of those memories of how scared, worried, humorous, and sad ~ how mysterious, magical, beautiful and special wonderland was. I started drawing images and could not stop. They all just came to be and I had such a wonderful time creating them and stepping out of my box a bit.
The card I made for you today is featuring the digi image called

Fresh Brewed Designs is sponsoring the Altered Alice challenge blog for the month of May. I was so honored to be a part of this wonderful challenge blog and to share my images with the team there. 4. I loved the story of your stamp creation. It's so sweet and innocent. I have to confess, I've never seen the Disney cartoon; and I probably would have been angry when the baby oysters were eaten too :( I'm so glad you decided to play along!

  7. Heather, this is fantastic! Your coloring is fabulous and I love the colors you chose with the yellows, greens and purples predominating. The details are wonderful; the clock numbers around the circular inset image really speak to the theme, and the tulle overlay adds such amazing texture to the whole image. I am going to be using that idea soon myself, so thanks in advance for the inspiration! And thanks too for sponsoring us. These images are such fun to use and it is so much fun to have a sponsor actually playing along with the challenge! I hope you checked out this week's design team projects, they are AMAZING!!! :-)
