A FUN DAY FRIDAY...

A FUN DAY FRIDAY...
We could all use one of those, right?!?!
Well, it was fun for me because I cant sleep in when I am sick .. so waking up early this morning gave me the opportunity to create with the newly {just yesterday} released digi, Crafty Gal. Newly released you ask? Yes, we released 4 new cakes yesterday and 6 fun, sweet, and sassy gals

I chose to use the sketch at Eat Sleep Stamp for this card. I was sooo sad (but totally understand the need for a break, esp during this time of the year) that this is the last sketch of the year. WAHH!!! What will I do without my weekly ESS sketch?!?! I know I have not been able to participate in them all, but man do I try!
This sketch was really fun to work with. I honor of it being the last challenge of the year, I even added a calendar with every Thursday marked with ESS on it :D  Thank you for the inspiration and fun Tracy!

*edited to add - I just stopped by Tracys blog and see that her father has passed away today, his 60th birthday. Please remember her and her family in your prayers*


A lovely lady named Chriss at Scrappin' with Chriss and Lou suggested to me yesterday a girl crafting in her pjs and wearing bunny slippers. I LOVED the idea (And have to admit I have wanted to make one a long time ago, but the mojo just wasn't flowing for her) I say all good things come to those who wait, because I am really happy with the way she turned out. I always craft in my pjs (which usually include yoga pants and a tee :D or my sock monkey flannels) lol!)

    What a very cute card, Love your new release, her sitting there in her PJ's & bunny slippers! It's adorable I have been known from to time to look just that way, hair pulled back, fuzzy slippers, and PJs just craftin' away! Love the LO of your card sorry it's your last ESS sketch of the year. So that gives you something to look fwd to for 2012! :)

    Heather I *have* to get this image!! As soon as things settle on my end, I will be popping over to FBD to pick her up. You have made a ton of A*M*A*Z*I*N*G cards my friend, but I think this one takes the cake. WOWZERS!!!! Fantastic.
