We {{barely}} survived our first day of school.
Anyone else out there heard of or use Connections Academy?
We tried it this year, but I am still not sure it was the best decision.
It is in fact driving me insane!!! I just knew I could not afford the $500 - 600 it cost in books again this year.
ANYWAY - We will keep trucking on and see how it goes.
No major decisions yet; just still getting a feel for it. We spent close to 7 hours having school today.
Mostly going back and forth from work books to computers to little tutorial videos to workbooks and so on. I will be working all day tomorrow planning our books and lessons for next week. Maybe if I get everything printed out and ready, we will not be doing so much hopping.
Enough of my rambling. I do have something cute to share with you today.
This card set was created using the digi Big Apple Book Worm.
This was another digi drawn by request, but for someone I know in 'real life' lol.
This digi was for a lady at my daughters dance school. She requested it for a summer reading program or something like that before the summer started.
This is a card set I created for my sister to give out. I kept them really plain and simple. I used an older paper stack - MME Asparagus Stack for these cards. I printed the digi, colored them with sharpie and prismacolor markers, cut them with the next to largest size lacy scalloped spellbinders die and voila! there you have it, a little gift for someone special.

Brave soul - but I am proud of you. If I could do life over, I think I would have loved to have found a way to homeschool at least part of their years. I think they would have learned more - I know my oldest would have because I use to have to re-teach her every night. Super fun card collection - great image!!!
