Snowflakes at my Door

Good afternoon.
We are being hit with yet another rain storm here in South Carolina.
I am so sick of the rain.... thankful for rain... but still sick of it.
Does that even work? lol!

Anyway, I am here with another fun Christmas card. I have been
enjoying the cooler weather (it's been in the low to high 70's the past few days)
That means I get to open curtains and light a few fall smelling candles.
When the sun is beaming and the temps are so hot, my AC can't keep up and
I have to keep the house looking like a dungeon. No fun!!! :(

I created this card using the Fresh Brewed Designs Rubber Stamp
COME AND KNOCK AT MY DOOR

The actual image just has the topiaries plain. I drew in the snowman faces and buttons.
I love to add fun things to the topiaries for different seasons and holidays.

I used patterned paper from the American Crafts HOT COCOA stack.
The Kraft paper was embossed using a cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder.
I added some silver and crystal stickles to the card for an extra touch of sparkle!

I chose a monochromatic theme for this card because I love how simple, yet beautiful
it is. It makes the card look old fashioned, simple, warm, and inviting. And is much different
than my normal bright, bold style.

Thank you for stopping by!

I hope you all have a beautiful and blessed day.

Let it Go .. or Let it SNOW!

Good Morning.
I have a fun card to share with you today.
This card features a few Fresh Brewed Digital stamps
that I put together to create a fun scene for the new challenge
that is being sponsored by{me} Fresh Brewed Designs.

Their song for this challenge is from FROZEN: LET IT GO

Images used:

I colored and cut this little snowman image out three times.
I did this last night at midnight after a 6 hour ride in the car with
two kids, a husband and a dog. So please don't look too closely ;-)

The christmas house and oh christmas tree digis were printed out near
each other. I then took a doodle pen and drew the line of snow to make them
meet one another. I used a pale jade green to draw the lines across the sky.
I used a sky blue to draw snowflake dots then traced around them with a white gel
pen to make them look more like snowflakes. The house was also decorated with the
white gel pen. All of the pretty glitter is from my stickles collection.

This paper is awesome. I so love this stack!
American Craft: Hot Cocoa

here is another view of the card showing the snowman layers and the pretty shimmer.

Christmas Is Coming!!!

Good Morning everyone!
My kids are slow moving this morning .. and I guess I am too.
Who's ready for MONDAY?!?! lol!

I do have something fun to share with you today.
I have had this card ready for over a week, but have been out of tape ... so it sat in puzzle pieces on
my table until this morning when I was able to break open the tape I got to purchase Saturday.
I was so happy to see it come togehter.

This sketch is the October sketch for i{heart}2stamp.
I thought this was a fun little sketch... you will be seeing it again this weekend for one of my hop cards:))
I LOVE the red and white bg paper. It was RAKed to me a long time ago, so I really did not want to hide it with the other panel the sketch required. SO I decided to use vellum. I love the look of the embossed vellum over the dots. It looks much prettier IRL. I hope you can see it with the additional photos I attached.

The green paper is gorgeous thick Papertrey inc cardstock. It is heavenly :)!!!
I love to use it for distressing too. It get so soft and fluffy looking.
