Snowflakes at my Door

Good afternoon.
We are being hit with yet another rain storm here in South Carolina.
I am so sick of the rain.... thankful for rain... but still sick of it.
Does that even work? lol!

Anyway, I am here with another fun Christmas card. I have been
enjoying the cooler weather (it's been in the low to high 70's the past few days)
That means I get to open curtains and light a few fall smelling candles.
When the sun is beaming and the temps are so hot, my AC can't keep up and
I have to keep the house looking like a dungeon. No fun!!! :(

I created this card using the Fresh Brewed Designs Rubber Stamp
COME AND KNOCK AT MY DOOR

The actual image just has the topiaries plain. I drew in the snowman faces and buttons.
I love to add fun things to the topiaries for different seasons and holidays.

I used patterned paper from the American Crafts HOT COCOA stack.
The Kraft paper was embossed using a cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder.
I added some silver and crystal stickles to the card for an extra touch of sparkle!

I chose a monochromatic theme for this card because I love how simple, yet beautiful
it is. It makes the card look old fashioned, simple, warm, and inviting. And is much different
than my normal bright, bold style.

Thank you for stopping by!

I hope you all have a beautiful and blessed day.

Word Art Wednesday - 1 Chronicles 16:10

Happy Wednesday everyone.
Thank you for stopping by my blog and visiting with me today.
(Why does that make me feel like Mr. Rogers? lol!!!)

This weeks scripture is 1 Chronicles 16:10

Here is an excerpt from the WAW blog devotion today
that really spoke to me:

"" I've been high, and I've been low (emotionally). And to be perfectly honest, I MUCH prefer being on a high, and in a place where my heart wants to rejoice.  I won't allow the enemy to steal my joy......EVER!  So, how do I ensure that my heart will rejoice?  Well, it's pretty simple.  When I seek after God, my heart will be in a place where it can rejoice (and be filled with praise). ""

Simple as that.
When our hearts are in the right place and focused on God
and His will and His plan, our hearts will rejoice.
And, trust me, it feels better to be able to rejoice in ALL things
knowing He is in control even when we are having bad moments.

Here is my CAS card I created for this weeks challenge:

I have had these paper straws in my stash for quite some time now
and decided they needed to be put to good use ;)

I do hope you will stop by and check out the beautiful cards my

Joy - New Digi at Fresh Brewed Designs

Hello

So happy to have you visiting with me today.
I am back again today with another card I created for our
NEW DIGI RELEASE that went live yesterday morning.
(If you missed all of the DT cards, be sure to go HERE and check them out.)

This card features the new digi:

I kept this card clean and simple.
I printed the image on Papertrey Inc paper because it is thick
enough to use and pop without having to add a border around the image.
I drew little snow dots to mimic those in the image and added stardust stickles to all of the snow.
The pink paper is from my scrap pile. It is also from papertrey inc.
The image is colored using prismacolor markers

Here are all of our NEWEST Digis:
You can get this entire bundle HERE for $15
PLUS each bundle order will receive 3 surprise wintery digital sentiments free!
(you save $12) Deal ends tonight (Tuesday, Dec 2) at midnight (EST)
