For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV

TGF day

hi everyone!!! If you are looking for the Tellen's place blog hop, please scroll down to the next post.

i have a few cards to share with you tonight. I have been participating in the TGF CHA challenge, and have been having a blast. Sadly dut to unforseen circumstances the challenge is come to an early end. You can still snag the freebie of the cutie Prince Ian while it lasts!

For the Toby card I used heidi grace double sided paper, inkadinnkado chalk and a prismacolor marker in putty. I kept it simple, but still bright and fun. I am sending this card to my beautiful friend Stacy. She makes me smile and I wanted to send her a smile in return.

The Challenges for this card are: Crafty Creations: blog hop celebrations
Crafty Creations is having a FUN and Generous and filled with sweet inspirational Celebration cards. Be sure to check it out!!! It was one of the bestest hops ever!!!

My Prince Ian card was created using DS American Craft paper, my cricut, a printed sentiment, prismacolor markers, bic markers and copics. He was an absolute blast to color up. I really thought of prince charming with this one and wanted to make his hair black. I am not a pro by any stretch and need a lot of practice, but am still happy I tried.

the challenges for this card are: Card Patterns: Sketch

I wish!!!

I wish I were this pink flamingo!!! :o) She looks so happy ~ no stress, just chillin'! I admit, I stress too much about everything. I am trying to do better. Relaxing like this seems to be impossible! :) hehehe. Oh well. I cleaned, cooked and then did peek at a few of my favorite challenges. It is rainy, the kids are drawing, playing and entertaining themselves ((?? WOW!)) so I figured, why not! I had this digi image, found on the MyGrafico website, colored for weeks now. I LOVE it:). Can you tell. She is so cute and fun. Hannah requested I not get it, lol. She liked the other animal set. I just could not stop myself! I told her "Han, you can draw all of those, why do you need the digi images?" lol. She rolled her eyes and went away. I did let her help me chose the others 2 sets so it was fair ;). For this card I dug in my BIG box of scraps and RAKs. Everything is questionable. Here is a list of the products I KNOW I used: pink dot paper is by DCWV, the big flower is a prima, the blue cardstock is by Basic Occasions, tan circle is bazzil, scallop scissors by provocraft, stickles and prismacolor markers. I am submitting this card to these challenge: Cute Card Thursday: To the Beach Theme and Truly Scrumptious: Sketch

Also for this card I used a new glue. It is called Zip Dry paper glue and so far I am very impressed. I won a challenge weeks ago and got a gift certificate to shop at A Touch of Grace. I recieved a ScoreIt that was unfortunatley had a bubble under one side and I had to send it back. Jerri was so helpful and understanding. We chatted and shared things. She is such a kind lady and I was so very impressed. I no longer have a score it :( but I did get to chose other things from her shop. I mostly got glue :) but she has the most beautiful stencils and things. If you get the chance you really should check her shop out. AND check her blog for a peek at how the stencils work. Her cards are AMAZING and oh so BEAUTIFUL!

My BEAUTIFUL sister made me these AMAZING FUN COLORFUL COMFY socks. I am special because I am one of the only people worthy of the time and irritation spent making socks :). Thank you Becky. I LOVE them!

Be Joyful Always

I made this card for the Truly Scrumptious challenge which was to make a card with more than one fold. I, again, used images from Stacy. I had envisioned this card a lot differently and am not 100% happy with it, but I do like it. These kids are just adorable, the little extras (frog, etc.) I love! I am just glad I have a few more of these cuties left so I can make another card with them. I know I am keeping this short but I have a busy day ahead of me. Being joyful always is something I have a hard tome 'always' doing, but I will try. Today may be a test on my joy :). lol Hope your Wednesday is a blessed one.
