What is your favorite season?

This week we want to see a card featuring
your FAVORITE season.

I don't really have a FAVORITE season. I have something
I love about them all. I love most things about winter.
Hot cocoa, coffee, scarves, boots... but I don't like it when it's
TOOOO COLD like it has been the past few days (in the 30's.. I'm a baby)

For this card I used the Fresh Brewed Designs

I, once again, used the Splitcoast Stampers TWISTED CARD Technique.
Such a fun card fold, don't you think?

Come play along with us this week HERE

Have a happy and blessed day!

You're My Cup of Cocoa

Happy Wednesday!
I am so happy to be here sharing my little Christmas creation with you.
My kids are SO READY to get out the Christmas decorations.
I just haven't had the time :(
They have been practicing every weekend for the upcoming
Nutcracker performance at their dance studio and dancing
every day of the week for 4 - 5 hours on top of that. And add homeschooling...
cooking... cleaning....
We will do it soon though. Maybe the day after Thanksgiving. That is usually
our tradition. They just wanted to do it earlier.

Here is a sassy little Christmas card I created.
It is pretty simple and fun. I used some chunky glittery stuff
I found at hobby lobby. I think it was supposed to be confetti or something.
It looks like little diamonds. But isn't it gorgeous?!? You should see it IRL!
Blingin! LOL!!!

I used the Fresh Brewed Designs digital stamp:

I hope you have a very happy and blessed day.

Happy World Card Making Day Post #3

Hello everyone!
I have had a very busy day, but made sure I had time to create
for World Card Making Day!
I think this is one of the few ones I have actually been able to create for...

We left the house this morning at 9 am.
I took my images and markers with me to dance while the kids
rehearsed for the Nutcracker, and colored away!
After we got home (close to 1:30 pm) I cleaned up and waited
on my in-laws to visit. AFTER they left I started dinner...
THEN I was able to create a few CAS cards while the sauce is simmering.
(I am cooking homemade Beefaroni tonight. Yuumm!)

My first card features the
Fresh Brewed Designs Rubber Stamp:

My sister knits and when we both first started our blogs,
I helped her name hers. This was around 6 years ago?
Wow, where has the time gone?!?
Anyway, I named hers I'll knit you my pretty and your little dog too!
We both love Wizard of OZ, so I found it to be very fitting for her :-)
When I was coloring this image, that is all I could think about,
so I came home and created this sentiment to go with the image. :-)
I think my sister (Becky) would approve :-D

My next card showcases my new Christmas color combo obsession.
I went to Hobby Lobby and saw their new ornament display... then saw this
photo posted to their facebook page a week or so ago:

Um... LOVE!!!
Then I saw the challenge at DARING CARDMAKERS
was hosting a challenge using these very colors! YAY!!!

For this card, I colored up my
Fresh Brewed Designs Rubber Stamp:

Don't you just LOVE this color combo?!?
I know I do! :-)

Challenges:
Christmas Stampin' All Year Long - Lots of Snowflakes

I am linking both cards up to the WORLD CARDMAKING LINK UP at
PAPERCRAFT'S AND SCRAPBOOKING:

*Both cards feature paper from the paper studio Christmas Basics 6x6 paper stack.
*Images were colored using prismacolor markers, copic markers, and sharpie markers.

Welcome to the Fresh Brewed Designs October Rubber Stamp Release
and Blog Hop Day 3! I don't know about you, but I am still walking around
humming Christmas carols. And I love it! The mornings have been so cold.
The past last few Christmas holidays had been quite warm. I remmeber going to my moms
wearing a tee shirt and jeans! It has already been down to the high 40s at night. I wonder what
that means for our winter ahead? hmm....

Well, (for now) I am loving it. Bundling up on the couch with a warm blanket, making the kids cocoa and drinking hot cups of coffee on the deck watching the steam as it dances away from my cup...
Love it!

Today I have a simple little card to share with you using

I was  in bed last night thinking about this card and
how much cuter it would be with little white snowflake diecuts int he blank
spaces. SO before she is sent off, she will have them :))

This card is really just a simple and sweet little card. I love the dotty vellum -
I found it in my scrap pile and it was mushed all up :(( but I was albe to salvage this piece :)

The inside sentiment was stamped using a stampabilities rubber stamp
(with the house mouse stamps I do believe, if you go looking for it :)

October Rubber Stamp Release and Blog Hop Day #1

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas  Ev'rywhere you go;
Take a look in the five and ten glistening once again
With candy canes and silver lanes aglow
.

If this is your first time getting to our hop, please go back to the start HERE

I absolutely LOVE everything about Christmastime!
The smells, colors, lights, joyful smiles, and sweet moments shared.
All of the pretty decorations, candles burning, listening to stories  and
reminiscing of past memories while making more special memories.

We are excited to be able to bring Christmastime to you a little bit sooner this year.
These little stamps are guaranteed to spread smiles and winter cheer,
and I hope I am able to do that very same thing with you today!

For my card I used the new FBD Rubber Stamp: Decorate It Girl

This card is very simple. She is paired up with the My Christmas Tree digital stamp,
the ground is covered in felt and the whole background (even the tree)
was covered with shimmer spritz in silver.
As you can see I removed the ornament from her hand
as well as  the box of ornaments on the floor in front of her.
Next up is: Hot Cocoa Girl
This one was alot of fun to make! I even used the Christmas House digi you can get free by going here
I can't tell you how steady of a hand I had to have to color and cut that little thing out :) hehehe!
The simple table was hand drawn on the card.

I have a few more cards using these images that will be showcased over the
next few days of the hop. I hope you will stop in to check them out!

Stop by the shop to check out the new stamp set deal available
for the duration of the hop ONLY! You can get both stamps for just $10.50!!!
