New Digi Release at Fresh Brewed Designs (Dress Up Kids)

It's time for a NEW DIGI RELEASE!

I am so excited to share these new images with you!

I had such a great time sketching them up and

then coloring and bringing them to life!

We have 12 Dress Up Kid images and

17 new digital sentiments to release today!

When I sat to start sketching these images, 

I knew I wanted something for Halloween, but also wanted them

to be versatile enough to use for many other occasions. 

I know my son (and daughter when she was younger)

didn't have to have a specific day or reason to play dress up, 

they just did it. I can't tell you how many photos I have of my son 

dressed up as every super hero imaginable. 

He has been a monkey, a ninja turtle, a skeleton, a zombie skateboarder, 

Casey Jones... The list is literally endless. I could go on and on.

The point is, kids just love dressing up, and we love seeing them use 

their imaginations. This is what this whole release is about!

I absolutely LOVE everything about Christmastime!
The smells, colors, lights, joyful smiles, and sweet moments shared.

All of the pretty decorations, candles burning, listening to stories  and

reminiscing of past memories while making more special memories.

We are excited to be able to bring Christmastime to you a little bit sooner this year.

These little stamps are guaranteed to spread smiles and winter cheer,

and I hope I am able to do that very same thing with you today!

For my card I used the new FBD Rubber Stamp: Decorate It Girl

This card is very simple. She is paired up with the My Christmas Tree digital stamp, 

the ground is covered in felt and the whole background (even the tree) 

was covered with shimmer spritz in silver. 

As you can see I removed the ornament from her hand

 as well as  the box of ornaments on the floor in front of her. 

Next up is: Hot Cocoa Girl

 This one was alot of fun to make! I even used the Christmas House digi you can get free by going here

I can't tell you how steady of a hand I had to have to color and cut that little thing out :) hehehe!

The simple table was hand drawn on the card.

Popcorn!

I made some popcorn trim for a few cards. You can see the Grace and Daniel one HERE 

 Here is a close up of the popcorn on that card:

 Here is simply how it was created. 

I used twinery twine, tulip puffy paint and a heat gun.

 Lay the twine on a heat proof surface such as a ceramic tile as I did. 

Then place dots of paint across the twine as long as you want your popcorn string to be.

 Heat your 'popcorn' carefully until it puffs up. I like to leave mine on a little longer to sort

of 'brown' it to make it look more realistic, but be careful not to BURN it. 

 See the hint of brown in that piece?

They look pretty.. and puffy, but not really like popcorn. 

To make that magic happen, carefully flip over your string.

See - it is still wet underneath! Use your heat gun again to heat the under side.

This is how you will get the popcorn pieces to look like the real deal!
