For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:

Gobble Gobble!!!

Good afternoon. It is so rainy and cool here... the kids and I have finally gotten out of our ill moods and are done with school. If I can get done with my housework, I plan to rest with them and watch TV a bit this evening. I never do that... but the rain makes me lazy.

I have some FUN stuff to share with you today. Remember my Tom Turkey image I asked you about recently? I got such a great response and was so happy that you liked him that I added him to my shop , Fresh Brewed Designs, soon after I showed him to you. I have the pleasure of sharing a few cards with you today that have been made with him.

The first is by my wonderfully sweet friend Stacy. I am so blessed that my sister won her blog candy way back when I first started my blog, passed it on to me and in turn I met Stacy. She is just so nice and so giving. She is always there for me encouraging me and praying for me.

The second card is by Mary. This lady is so very talented. I met her first when I was playing along over at Hanna Stamps on SCS. She was always so nice and I enjoyed our chats very much. She is so inspirational. I am always in awe when I see her creations, and this one is no different! I also now have the pleasure of sharing a DT with Mary at ICS and I am so happy to further our friendship and share many more things with her as time goes by.

Thanks girls for the time you spent creating these cards. It is surreal to see them and then realize they are my designs. I appreciate you both very much!

I have to share my funny Turkey story with you. ((I hope I get this worded right, Carolyn)) I told Carolyn this on the phone yesterday and she agreed that I had to share it with my "Tom Turkey Debut". Well, I will keep this as short as possible. My mom cooked us turkey, dressing and the works sometime last week. I have been nuts trying to get into a schedule with the kids new classes and homeschooling. I must have been really flustered that week... ANYWAY~ we turned the left overs into turkey pot pie. It was sooo good! I was stuffed and still had to drag out to ballet and karate. I got home and heated up the rest of the stuffing and more turkey, lol! COMFORT FOODS ARE MY DOWNFALL! It was SOoo good I tell ya! The next morning I got my moms dishes all stacked and put in a bag. They sat there for about a week until Sunday when I took them to my mom after church. Monday morning I got up to check emails and found this from her: ((my mom does not know how to email ... but she managed to send me an IM :) I love you mama!!!))mornin honey....thanks for my surprizzzze i got up to this mornin, mmmmmmmm!!!!nothin like wakin up to the smell of fresh coffee and a dishorotten turkey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!hehehehehehehahahahahahahaha puke!!!!call me,i will be out for a while this mornin, call early.aint you precious!!luv mammy. Well, I must say I was a little confused and a little flustered. Then I thought about it and it hit me! OH NO!!! I must have assumed my hubby had washed the dish of turkey and just stuck it in the bag. She said she was putting up her dishes that morning, one felt heavy so she got it back out of the cabinet (Oh if she had left it!!!) opened the lid and saw something green. bubbly and slimy in it. She said it took a minute for smell to bubble from the bowl and smack her between the eyes. She ran out the back door of the house to get rid of it. Then she continued to smell it and kept asking my dad if he could still smell it. lol!!! Oh man was I ever embarrassed!!! I hope this gave you a little chuckle or at least made sense.

I am off to clean up and get my wild children to calm down:). Have a beautiful Wednesday no matter the weather.

This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

I am submitting this card to the following challgenges:
