truth

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 / KJV

If you are wanting to check out my DAY 2 POST GO HERE

I chose to use the NEW RUBBER STAMP
for both of my projects today:

For this card I used scraps and hoarded paper pieces. The bg shimmery paper has been hoarded for a few years now. I have already forgotten who has sent it to me - but I have treasured it and was so happy to finally use it. The gingham paper is from a 6x6 stack called Kitchy Kitchen. the little clouds are by Papertrey Inc. The sentiment was printed using word. They were colored using prismacolor and bic markers.

Next up is another fun card using these little Love Birds

the bg paper is by American Craft - I do- Dahlias
THe image was colored using prismacolor markers. The ribbon is from my stash - again- YEARS old. The gray cardstock is by the paper company. I used xmas red stickles for the little heart and  I used glue dots and the fun flock transfer papers for the red dots. This card was created using the sketch at i{heart}2stamp

You can WIN some of the felt /  flocking paper just by hopping and commenting! What are you waiting for? Get started now!!!

Thank you for stopping by today.
I hope you have a very lovely and blessed Monday.

  3. Heather, I love your owl cards. My favorite is the top one with all the cheerful colors. Love the gingham paper with the print. Love the coloring of the owls. I love your embossed clouds. They look great!
I love the heart border on your second card. The color choice makes the red pop and you pay attention to the owls. Thanks for sharing. Edwina Brown

  6. GASP! Let me pick my jaw up off the floor! I love, love, love these adorable owl cards! Each card is so very creative, unique and absolutely beautiful! I especially love the pretty colors and the heart that you tucked up inside the clouds on your first card! I really like the elegant look of the second card with the gray, black and red. It would even make a nice anniversary or Valentine card for a man! Brilliant!
I can't believe this is the last hop for 2012! I'm so happy that I was able to be a part of it!
I hope that all is well!
    Big Warm Hugs, Sheryl
