All I Want For Christmas is ....

Good morning. I hope you are all having a beautiful week. Here it has been cool and rainy, hot and rainy, cloudy and gloomy ... need I say more? lol! We have had a pretty busy week so far. My mama made a roast on Monday and beef stew on Tuesday so I have been extra blessed this week :). My mama is the best cook EVER! :o) I really am so grateful for her and my dad. They really have no idea how much. Anyway ~ it seems I have been on a cardmaking spree... lol ... i guess I have in a way? Most of these projects were made on Monday night and I had just not posted them. All except for my Monster. I usually make one project every night. I did not create last night though. I think all of those Monsters yesterday sucked all the creativity out of my body :) My husband has been practicing new songs for church at night in my craft room / pantry / laundry room with me. I managed to create this owl card on Monday while holding sheet music for him, lol! :) I had her colored for over a month and am just getting around to making a card with her. I really like the way it turned out. I colored her with my prismacolor markers. the papers are by DCWV I think. They were all RAKs or part of a card kit exchange from months ago.

I used the sketch provided at Friday Sketchers for this card.

CHOCOLATE!

I made this card for Spoon Full of Sugar challenge {hearts} using the sketch provided on Friday Sketchers. I chose to use a RAKed Riley image for this. My sisters bday is today and the past few cards have been made with her in mind (the last coffee one and this chocolate one). I colored my Riley with prismacolor markers and stamped the Inkadinkado sentiment in brillinace graphite black. The papers are once again from my scrap pack. The felt hearts are by american crafts.

GOOD MONDAY!!!!!

i am running around cleaning and getting alot done while my mom has the kids. I wanted to stop and add a card I made over the weekend for the Friday Sketchers challenge. I loved the sketch and had so much fun making this card. Thanks again Jenn for the darling images!!! I love them!!!

I colored her with my bics and copic skin colors. The papers are ?? I stacked them all on my shelf months ago and threw away the packaging. I know better now and I will remember to label things now when I add to my collection. I hope you are having a productive Monday. Mine was great! I spent my morning with my beautiful sister, Becky. We had a lot of fun and got to spend time together ... have not done that in a long time!!! Laughs and good food :). My mom came and got the kids around 4 and I have got the house mostly clean. just mopping and bathrooms left ~ my craft room if I still have time. AND I got my secret sister on Card Makin Mamas name and wish list .... bought her things off her wish list plus a few other goodies. It has just been an wonderful day all around. Card Puke!

This, my friends, is what card puke looks like. It is due to a BAD day yesterday and a hurting back this morning. My mojo was blinded ... yet did not want to stop making this card no matter how much worse it became as i worked on it. My sweet friend Cheryl on cafe mom sent me this adorable Stella image. I have had her colored and ready for weeks. I am going to send this to my mom :) I am sure many of you who have been listening to me whine and complain were thinking the same thing .. suck it up :0) Thanks for putting up with me. I hope this card does not hurt your eyes :/. Happy Friday everyone! HUGS!!!!

Cute as a Bug!

I think this little girl is just SO CUTE! I really had fun coloring her and am very happy with the way my prismacolor pencils worked this time (like it is up to them and not me :D) I guess I just need a little more practice and should not give up on them so soon. I made this card for Friday Sketchers as well as Spoon Full of Sugars butterfly challenge. I am off to sit a while with my hubby before "Monday" comes. It will not be a bad one though since Granny is down for a visit and I know we will be spending a lot of time with her and enjoying her as much as possible. yes, I made another card with a free digi found on Mels blog. (if you have missed the deets you can check either of my last 2 posts). I thought this birdie was just adorable. I used the sketch on Friday Sketchers for this card. I also colored her in with my bics, added fun felt and stickles. The glittery paper is by DCWV, the rest were scraps. I also used my birds and swirls (i think that is the name of it) cuttlebug folder. I hope you are all having a blessed Sunday and spending time with those you love. I am spending time with my babies (hubby had to work) and thanking God for every moment I have with them.
