WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!

It is officially just 15 days until Christmas!
WHERE HAS TIME GONE?!!?
This has been one of the best Christmas seasons for us.
We have spent more time together doing things for as many people as we can.
Spreading the love of Christ, spending time with the ones we love and making lots of fun memories.
I am so blessed!!!

Today I have a fun little card I created using the

This card was created using papers from my hoarded echo park holly jolly christmas pack.
I love that stack!!! I will have to find it and get some more of it.
The little snowbuddies are colored with prismacolor markers. I had a chipboard tree
in a colorbox (OLD) kit, wrapped twine around it and added blingy ornaments.
The little snowbuddies are also highlighted in stardust stickles.

I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed day today.
Be safe as you are traveling, decorating, doing your last minute shopping
and all of those other things going on this time of year.

Lots of smiles,
Heather

S.S.S.

What does S.S.S. stand for you might ask? They all have to do with the cards I am sharing with you today. The Sketch (for Inspirational Card Sketches), Spots and Stripes (for Papertake Weekly).
I will share with you my Sketch first. Dawn has yet again knocked my socks off with this gorgeous sketch! I LOVED working with it. I chose to use my newly released snow buddy image called Kiss ME!!! for this card. I think they are just too sweet. His cheeks are chalked with a bright pink, but the light outside washed it out and you can no longer see him blushing :(. Oh well, at least you can imagine it, right? I ran my burgundy paper through my cuddle bug using the swiss dots folder. My image is colored with prismacolor markers, a blue copic and glossy accents on the boots. I used a Martha Stewart leaf punch to create the wreath.

My second card is for Papertake Weekly. I am so honored to be a guest designer there and to have met some wonderful new friends! Thank you for having me Dawny. It has been wonderful!!! The challenge this week is to use stripes and spots. I have been wanting to play with my Corny Family image again so this challenge was perfect! I used my prismacolor markers to color them. I cut the sweet little ghost out and popped him with a foam dot. I also covered him in ice stickles to really make him shine. The Moms hair screamed to be covered in fun flock. It looks much better in person. The little spiders were cut using my cricut. I thought it would be fun to give them all mismatched (or mickmacked as my kids say) eyeballs. The sent is from a set by Martha Stewart.

I am also submitting this candy corn to the Cute Card Thursday : which is Candy Corn Challenge (or a sweet treat :) )

I really enjoyed making these cards this week. I hope they make you smile. Be sure to check out both challenges and all of the AMAZING design team creations.

Snow better time for a HOP!!!

I am SO excited about today! First off, if you are participating in the hop ( and I hope you are because you could win free stuff!!!) then you need to start with Jenn, then on to the other talented ladies who graciously agreed to make some cards / projects for my hop. Thank you so much girls!! The hop is short and ends with me... so go back and play along with us. If you have already hopped to the other 5 blogs, then you are at the perfect place! The end of the hop!!!

This is my first ever blog hop for Fresh Brewed and my new Snow Buddy images. I have been holding on to these guys for over a month now and I am so happy to finally be able to share them with you!

I created this fun little house for you to showcase several of my snow buddies all at once. They worked out so fun together, don't you think?!?! I got this AWESOME house template from Adela's shop: Creations by AR my Crafts. This template and tutorial combo is called House of Cards. It is the Most Adorable little house that you will ever find!!! You can fill it with a set of cards, use it as decor or as a gift box. Possibilities are endless! You have to check hers out. Mine does not do it justice. Adela's is exquisite! For mine, I used a ruler and drew the lines before I glued it all together. I added an extra layer to the roof, added glitter everywhere. I used an xacto knife to cut the windows and have buddies peeping through. My images are colored with prismacolor markers, tulip snow paint and Martha Stewart marble glitter. I used Pretend Snowman, Snow Buddy on Ice, Kiss Me, Cookies and Milk, and Decorate the Tree on this project.

OK, well that about does it!!! I hope you got the chance to participate in the hop. Tomorrow I will choose a person from each blog to win a free image and I will give the grand prize to a lucky person who hopped the hop in full and left a comment here on my blog. Good luck to you all.
You can find my new released snow buddies in my shop HERE at Fresh Brewed Designs. (http://www.shophandmade.com/Store/Joemama). I also added a few extras that are holiday themed, you will have to go there if you want to see them! :)

Thanks for hopping with us! Have a wonderful Friday! Don't forget to check back in tomorrow for the winners and another fun project I made with my snow buddies!!!

Hop list in case you missed!!! *Edited* Sorry for the hop confusion! :) Or Hiccups as Carolyn sweetly called them. I have not heard from our dear friend Fink, so please just skip from Jenn on to Mary. I appreciate your understanding in this matter. I just hope Fink is ok :(. We love ya lady!

Caardvarks Thursday

Good Morning!!! ((in radio personality voice)) I did it again .. Caardvarks before Coffee!!! It is brewing now, but I woke up early ... laid there thinking how I needed sleep .... but my paper was calling my name. ((in Jacob Marley's voice Heather........ Heather ...... Heather.... GET UP GIRL!!! DON'T YOU HEAR ME?!?! lol! So I did. I designed this Snow Buddy (called Cookies and Milk) last week when we took Hannah to Duke. He will be part of my new release to Fresh Brewed Designs Oct 7th, so be on the look out:)!!! I have been dying to print and use him. The sketch today did not really fit that, lol .... but I wanted to use him so badly ~ I improvised a little bit :). I hope that was ok. I colored this little guy with my prismacolor markers, a gelly roll white pen, stickles, a cool blue copic and a doodle black pen. The papers are from my never ending scrap box. I have TRIED to use scraps before I cut into a new page. That box is getting way tooo full. It may overflow and take over my craft area like the blob!

OK, Carolyn .. my friend. This morning you spoke of being in a ill butt mood when you got up ... then giggly ... well..... I was not ill .... but I am getting far too giggly :). WOWZA! Maybe my toe curling strong coffee is ready and I will stop acting 'wacko' ((Do I really say that? lol .. REALLY?!?!)) Carolyn is my sweetest ever friend. You know her from PMS ect. She is an amazing card maker ... but her phone calls are God sent. Maybe not to her because I can talk! We stay on the phone for hours at a time! :) Plus, she calls on the most PERFECT of days ((*cough* like yesterday)) and brings out the best in me. You make me smile big lady :). I love ya!!!

Well, that is it for today. No more endless rambling. Off to cook breakfast and get my kiddies ready for our day of school .

Hope you all have a wonderfully blessed day.

Don't forget to check out our challenge at Doodle Street. The winner gets one digi from my shop, Fresh Brewed Designs, as well as a digi from the Doodle Street shop.

Let it Snow

I made this card for the Monday sketch on Caardvarks. I really did not think I would have time since we were leaving this morning to visit my husbands Grandma ... but the sketch was so simple and I had the image already printed and on my desk ready to go, I thought why not? :) This image is a sneak peek of my new to be released set called Snow Buddies. These little snow ball friends are playing pretend. I remember playing with my brother and sister and all the fun we had pretending. We were so good we would talk ourselves into being scared of the things in the 'woods' that we were pretending was there and run home :) lol. "You country folk know what the woods are, right? :) ha! I colored these little guys with my bic markers then added some tulip snow paint to make them have texture ad shine as if they are glistening in the sun. I love how snow looks when the sun shines on it. OK, I have a friend who talks about sleep talking ... I can sleep talk ... but apparently I am a bad morning talker ...:) HA! Off I go. Hope you like my card and my image. This one is called Pretend Snowman and it will be released to my shop, Fresh Brewed Designs in the upcoming weeks.

Have a Blessed Day!
