Freshly Brewed Challenge - Fall is... #PSL

Happy HUMP Day!

It's NEW CHALLENGE TIME at Freshly Brewed Challenges!

 Wooop wooop!

I am still on a little bit of a caffeine rush carried over from

yesterdays NATIONAL COFFEE DAY party.

I had one cup too many ... wait... is that even possible?!?

ANYWAY...

Our NEW challenge this week is

THE GREAT OUTDOORS

Anything that celebrates outdoors.

Animals, trees, outdoor scenes, etc.

Rubber Stamp: SHE LOVES LATTES

Digital Stamp: PUMPKIN LATTE

I have not yet gotten a PSL... but have a few obsessed friends who have.

I LOVE sweet coffee treats every once in a while, but I usually only drink

Hot, VERY STRONG, BOLD, Coffee with some creamer in it. (unflavored)

mmmmmm... goodness.

I do want to try the Toasted Graham Latte, the Salted Caramel Mocha,

and the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate.

YUMMMMMMMY!!!

I used a lot of RAKed and scrap papers for this card.

The little velvet strip is actually a Martha Stewart Fun Flock sheet.

They weren't really that great to use the way they were intended, but

they make a fun, fuzzy card embellishment. :)

The little felt latte cup was hand cut and sewn by little ol me.

I had fun recreating my PSL out of felt pieces :)

Hope to see you play along with us at Freshly Brewed Challenges this week!

Have a happy and blessed day!

Sisterhood of Crafters - Pumpkin patch

Color throwdown

I think I need an extra cuppa joe!

Everyone (but me so far) has been sick.

My whole house.

The flu one dr said.

They have SOMETHING.

Not really fevers as much as an irritating cough and runny nose -

and being up all night long.

I am tired... but blessed and happy to be here taking care of them.

(still crossing my fingers that I don't catch it though)

(is that mean?)

I did think I was getting sick earlier this week. Thankfully it was just a migraine.

Thankfully...

ANYWAY -

Another fun thing is that my computer is acting wackado!

I have tried to log on a few  mornings and NOTHING.

Windows wont load. I had a friend lovingly inform me that Kaspersky

was acting a little 'persky' and messed up her computer.

She let me know to NEVER get it. The new version wasn't working well with the version of Windows she had or something like that.  Well, I had already installed

it a week or two prior to her email. I told my husband and hoped for the best.

A few months later... and here we go. I am not sure if Kaspersky is the 'K'ulpret,

but that's all I have to go on right now... sigh... been backing up files and saving things

'computer willing'.

Another thing that happened was that I was unalbe to get my Fussy and Fancy card

to my sweet friend Sheryl in time to have her add it to their post today.

I did have it made earlier this week! PROMISE! Just my comptuer and sick

people had me all flustered and limited ... so please forgive me for that. The FnF team

has created some AMAZING projects for their current challenge RIBBON and SNOWFLAKES

Check it out and play along HERE

Here is a card I created for their challenge -

which also works for our FRESHLY BREWED CHALLENGES

December Challenge - Anything Goes as long as it's CHRISTMAS

Images used:

FBD Rubber Stamp: DECORATE IT GIRL

FBD Digital Stamp: MY CHRISTMAS TREE

I used some brads that I have had stashed for YEARS as well as a MFT Grass die cut

to create the snowy feel. I used American Craft papers from the Craft Fair set.

The sheet music paper was from my scrap pile.

I stamped the image to overlap the tree, then fussy cut and layered them

together to create this soft and fun little home for Christmas scene.

Next up is another card featuring the same digi:

MY CHRISTMAS TREE

I paired it this time with one of everyone's favorite FBD Rubber Stamps:

CAUTION: CONTENTS ARE HOT

Pretty sassy, right?

I used the current Splitcoast Stampers sketch for this card.

The I love you dp is from paper studio, the snowflakes are from the

pebbles home for christmas stack and the green dots are from my stash.

I colored the ornaments with stickles. I added some heart shaped ribbon

to the tree. I think it makes the perfect garland for this, don't you?

All images were colored using prismacolor and copic markers.

Thank you for stopping by today!

I do have one more bit of news before you go!

Remember how we are having a fun $1 digi deal at FBD this week?

It seems some of you missed yesterdays due to my being unable to post to my

personal blog to tell you about it. I am going to keep the $1 digis on sale until the end

of our fun 5 days of Christmas digi deal event. Remember, if you purchase all 5 digis,

on the 6th day you will get a SURPRISE!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Love....

I just LOVE love!

I don't know anyone who doesn't.  ;)

There are a few bible scriptures that stand out to me when

speaking of love that I want to share with you.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  – Romans 8: 38-39

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. – John 3:16

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  On these two commandments… – Matthew  22:37-40

A friend loveth at all times ... –  Proverbs 17:17

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. –  1 Corinthians 13:4

I created a card to share with you today.

It has been way too long since I have created anything....
I have to make more time to sit and play with my paper goodies :)

This card was created using the new Fresh Brewed Designs Digital Stamp

CIERRA

I drew this girl 'just for me' because I wanted to.

I was having one of those days where I felt quiet.

Feelings are hard to express in words sometimes... but I just wanted to draw

something mysterious and beautiful and this is what came from that.

I held on to her for about 4 months before releasing her into the shop.

I hope you love her as much as I do :)

This digi was part of our Digi Release for January 2014.

Stop by and check out THIS POST to see all of the newest releases.

Fresh Brewed Designs

WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!

It is officially just 15 days until Christmas!

WHERE HAS TIME GONE?!!?

This has been one of the best Christmas seasons for us.

We have spent more time together doing things for as many people as we can.

Spreading the love of Christ, spending time with the ones we love and making lots of fun memories.

I am so blessed!!!

Today I have a fun little card I created using the

Snow Buddy digi - Decorate the Tree With Me.

This card was created using papers from my hoarded echo park holly jolly christmas pack.

I love that stack!!! I will have to find it and get some more of it.

The little snowbuddies are colored with prismacolor markers. I had a chipboard tree

in a colorbox (OLD) kit, wrapped twine around it and added blingy ornaments.

The little snowbuddies are also highlighted in stardust stickles.

I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed day today.

Be safe as you are traveling, decorating, doing your last minute shopping

and all of those other things going on this time of year.

Lots of smiles,

Heather

Christmas Ballerina

My second post for today!

GO ME!!!

Here is a card I created using the NEW digi

Christmas Ballerina

If you stopped by the challenge blog yesterday, you have already seen it :))

I just have not had the chance to post it to my personal blog yet.

The cardstock for this card and the patterned paper is by papertrey inc. The diecut is a spellbinders lacy circles diecut. I used a deep purple velvet ribbon with lace from my scrap pile. The roses were RAKed to me. The image is colored using prismacolor and copic markers. She is glittered up with stardust stickles and I added white doodle dots using a white gel pen.

Challenges for this card include:
ABC Christmas Challenge -  Anything goes, Just Keep on Creating - Christmas, Die Cuttin' Divas - Shimmer Glimmer Gloss,  Stampin' Sisters in Christ - peace or calm Word Art Wednesday: AG, Penny's Paper-Crafty  Ribbon and/or buttons

FBD October Rubber Stamp Release and Blog Hop Day #2

IF you are looking for my FBD HOP DAY #1 CARD GO HERE

Welcome to the Fresh Brewed Designs October Rubber Stamp Release

and Blog Hop Day 2! If you have hopped during day 1 I imagine you are a bit like me.

Jaw still dropped on the floor. The cards were AMAZING!!!

You can tell everyone is ready for a little Christmas cheer!

For my Hop Day 2 cards I chose to create, again, with

Decorate it Girl

For this card I used the Out Of The Box technique.

It was fun cutting her out this way - but hard choosing the right die or how I wanted to cut her out.

I also tried to stay with the shabby chic theme for this one. The box that is also a part of this stamp

was removed from this card altogether.

ALL paper was found in my scrap pile :))and she was colored up using copics and prismacolor markers.

Challenges for this card include:

Tuesday Morning Sketches: Sketch, Loves Rubber Stamps: out of the box technique,

Ribbon reel: photo, Shabby tea room: photo insp, Hiding in my Craft Room: Diecuts

Stampin Sisters in Christ: Peaceful

Her PJs were paper pieced and the image was stamped OVER the tree.

It appears to be masked off but since the tree is a digi, we all know that will not work.

I stamped the little box twice, cut it out and pieced it over the first.

A little paper piecing and distressing and stickles and Voila -

my fun and bright little Christmas creation :)

Challenges for this card include:

Sweet Sketch Wednesday: sketch Christmas Card Challenges - Bows
Pile It On - Holidays,

October Rubber Stamp Release and Blog Hop Day #1

I absolutely LOVE everything about Christmastime!
The smells, colors, lights, joyful smiles, and sweet moments shared.

All of the pretty decorations, candles burning, listening to stories  and

reminiscing of past memories while making more special memories.

We are excited to be able to bring Christmastime to you a little bit sooner this year.

These little stamps are guaranteed to spread smiles and winter cheer,

and I hope I am able to do that very same thing with you today!

For my card I used the new FBD Rubber Stamp: Decorate It Girl

*for a popcorn string  making tutorial go here*

This card is very simple. She is paired up with the My Christmas Tree digital stamp,

the ground is covered in felt and the whole background (even the tree)

was covered with shimmer spritz in silver.

As you can see I removed the ornament from her hand

as well as  the box of ornaments on the floor in front of her.

Next up is: Hot Cocoa Girl

This one was alot of fun to make! I even used the Christmas House digi you can get free by going here

I can't tell you how steady of a hand I had to have to color and cut that little thing out :) hehehe!

The simple table was hand drawn on the card.

I have a few more cards using these images that will be showcased over the

next few days of the hop. I hope you will stop in to check them out!

Stop by the shop to check out the new stamp set deal available

for the duration of the hop ONLY! You can get both stamps for just $10.50!!!

A Sentimental Christmas

We are having a Sentimental 12 days of Christmas at Fresh Brewed Designs. That means that every day we have been giving away a free sentiment and sometimes an image. We have given away 3 images and 6 sentiments so far! If you have been missing out, you don't have to miss any more! You have 6 more days to get in on the fun!!!

Today I have a card to share with you that I made for a card swap.

This card is simple, but I had to keep it that way to be able to mail it ...

and sometimes (Alot of times for me) that is a hard thing to do.

But I try to keep my holiday cards simple and sweet for that very reason.

The tag on the front was attached with removable glue dots and I put a few extra tags inside as well.

The sentiment behind the tag (minus the Merry Christmas I added with clear Hero Arts stamps) is the one up for grabs today at Fresh Brewed Designs under Mocha Manic Monday in the sidebar. Also stop by Freshly Brewed Challenges to check out the other beautiful cards being created with these sentiment freebies and play along in our MONTH LONG CHRISTMAS challenge for your chance to win!

Have a very blessed Saturday
