Freshly Brewed Challenge: GIRLFRIENDS

Good Morning!

I am so happy to be stopping in today to share a fun card I created

for the NEW Freshly Brewed Challenge this week. 

This week's challenge is all about GIRLFRIENDS. 

AND we have a NEW DIGI released as well!

I unfortunately did not have time to create with this image yet. My printer is still out of ink :(

I did have time to make a card with an image I printed a while back and never used though!

CUTIE BUG LATTE

I also used the rubber sentiment stamp from the 

Skinny Minnie Coffee Break Rubber Stamp Set

This card was created using Papertrey inc white and kraft cardstock, 

prismacolor markers, a white gelly roll pen, flax twine from the twinery, 

scrap paper, and brilliance ink in coffee bean (for the sentiment).

Hap-BEE Day!!!

The Violet and the Bee

I found this cute little poem on one of the home school websites I use to print practice or fun worksheets for my kids. Hope it made you smile :)
I look forward to having the bees flying in my garden as my veggies start to bloom and grow.This week at Freshly Brewed Challenges we are challenging you to use our photo as an inspiration piece for your project(s). I have created 5 cards for this challenge due to my team being out sick and/or other issues beyond their control. Needless to say, they are in need of our smiles, support, and prayers.

The card I created to share with you today is one using the image:

Mrs. Buggy's Coffee Break Digital Stamp

This card was created using the sketch at Eat Sleep Stamp

I colored her up with prismacolor markers and creative inspirations paints in Sunshine yellow and light purple. The DS papers are by Heidi Grace: A Little Bird's Tale (which is kindof wrong considering birds eat bugs ... :/ ..)

I admit I got a little carried away creating this family of bugs. I loved to watch them as their personalities came to life there on the paper as I sketched them out. I hope you can relate with some of them or they at least make you smile.

Today I want to share a few new things with you. I am so glad you all had fun with my first sketch challenge for the Hannah Belle release,
I am offering up another sketch challenge.
I was sitting and doodling with my daughter the other day (she is quite the artist by the way!) when I looked over and fell in love with her little bugs she was drawing. I asked her permission to use hers as inspiration and she said "Sure, but if you put them in your shop, I want half!" LOL!!! At least I know she will be a 'good' business woman, lol!!! ;) I just thought they were tooo cute not to create into digis. I created my card with one of them. I called her Sweet Bee. There are 5 more (so far) in the buggy for you set.
