Today is THE day!!!

Good Morning all! I am so happy that you are here to share this beautiful day with me! Today is all about fun! Our new challenge is ready over at Doodle Street along with the list of winners from our hop. I hope you had fun participating in our very first hop. I know we had fun hosting it. In honor of our hop and release, I decided not to just choose a person to win a few free images, I decided to share a few freebies with you all. These are different from my images I have posted so far. I do hope you like them. The first is created from a picture my friend Carol sent me of her henna tattoo. She asked me to create a stamp for her of it and I did. She said she loves it and I hope you all do as well.

The second is a flourishy cupcake image. I love cupcakes and flourishes, so why not mix the two I say?!? :)

The last I am offering to you is also flourishy, but has a meaning. This one came to me when I was praying. God reminded me that no matter what we go through in life, he is always with us. He is always so close, even if we do not see him, he is there waiting to help us and to carry us, lift is up in his wings of love. He has such a beautiful and perfect love. It is amazing to me every time I think about it. I made this image with 2 butterflies to symbolize just that ... we are never alone.

I will be back later today with something you WILL NOT want to miss!!! It has nothing to do with Fresh Brewed. It is something new and exciting and wonderful and fun and gorgeous and .. well ... just TRUST ME!! You will want to check in. Good Morning and welcome to DAY 2 of Doodle Streets Blog Hop. I hope you had fun yesterday and enjoyed World Card Making Day! I was not home much to create, but I did get to last night a little. There is no way I could have missed making at least a few cards on WCMD!!!! If you missed the hop yesterday, lucky you ~ you have another chance to win free images!!! WOOT! Today I am sharing with you, again, some cards I created using Cassandras adorable images she will be releasing. These are just the sweetest, don't you think. Zoe is adorable. She looks like a happy little elf that is just sassy enough not to take any junk! don't mess with her :) She might put you on the naughty list!!! ;) I added fun felt to her coat and hat to make them warm and cozy. I hear it is getting quite nippy at the North Pole these days. The rest is colored with prismacolor markers, copics, and stickles. Zippy the little penguin is so adorable i just want to squeeze him. i added cotton and a little pompom ball to his hat and colored him with my prismacolor makers.

Disaster strikes!

When we got home from church last night, the kids were wired and I needed some coffee. I went to get my stuff together only to find out I was out of coffee filters! OH NO!!!! My husband offered to drive to the store to get me some, but i did not let him because they are so much cheaper at Sams. So, guess where my husband is this morning at 11AM? SAMS!!! Yay! I can't wait for him to get home so I can brew me a pot!!! :)

I made these cards for 2 of my favorite blog challenges. I love the inspiration there as well as the wonderful ladies that make up the amazing teams. These women are so inspirational, not only in their cardmaking, but in the way they live their lifes, as mothers and as christians. I am very blesssed to know a few of them and hope to continue to build our friendship.

the first card is for The Pink Elephant. I had so much fun with their recipe: tag, punch, and dots. I do have a tag on my card.. the sentiment I cut out and pasted to it was a little too big.. I hope you can still see it. It was a very fun card to create and I enjoyed this challenge very much.

My sweet son/wolverine ~ despite his being sick and sleeping all day yesterday, was wide open today until his head hit his pillow.

This is a pic I snapped of my darling Hannah. She is such a sweetheart. I love her so very much. This pic kindof freaked me out tonight because I actually see me when I was a little girl in this one. People say she looks like me but I did not see it until tonight. She has been LOVING her ballet and Jazz classes. :) Her first show will be on Halloween and they are dancing to the purple people eater!! FUN FUN FUN! :)

Sweetest Thing Sunday

I made this card with EKKK!, a digi I drew that will be for sale soon at Fresh Brewed Designs. I thought he was tooo cute:)!! I do hope you like him as much as I do. The card was made for Sweetest Thing Sunday using the Sweet Sunday Sketch. I had a lot of fun with this card. I changed the sketch just a tad, I hope that was ok.

Owl Love you Forever

When i was pregnant with my now 7 year old daughter, my mom bought me the book "I'll love you forever". It made me cry and I read it to her many times over again. That book will always hold a special place in my heart. The main part of the book went like this "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, As long as I'm living my baby you'll be." This image reminded me of that book. This mommy owl was much like me, up late at night rocking her baby back to sleep. I remember some nights how frustrating it was ... but also those special nights you realize how amazing this time is, watching them sleep or not sleep while you hold that little tiny gift from God in your arms and everything else just melts away. God has blessed me twice and I could never thank him enough. My babies mean so much to me. I love them with all that I have. I hope they know that.

This image is my little mama owl that will be released to Fresh Brewed Designs on October 7th. This Saturday is our first Blog Hop!!! I made this card for the Simon Says challenge. This is my very first time participating there and I am glad I stumbled upon it from anthers blog. The challenge was to include stitching of some kind on your card. I chose to draw mine ... I have yet to figure out how to thread the sewing machine my mom gave me :/.

"I wish I pooped gold poop."
I snickered
"If I pooped gold poop I could buy a mansion with a nursery, craft room, play room for my kids ... couldn't I Mama?"
Yes, Hannah you probably could
"If I did I would get to keep mine and you could keep yours. We would have to poop in buckets!"
laughing and went out the door ... Good night Hannah. I love you.
"I love you too mom."

This next card is for the Card Patterns sketch this week. I thought I would add it in this post since it was a Fresh Brewed Designs image and a Get Well card. This is one of my soon to be released Snow Buddy images. Isn't he just pitiful with his icicles sneezed out of his nose? :) lol. I really loved creating him and then coloring him for the first time just made my day. :) I hope he makes you smile and you like him as much as I do.

Happy Birthday to You

This is a card I made using the CardPatterns sketch this week. I love the sketch and saved it for future use. This card is for my Grandma. My mom had asked me to make her a card and I was a little stumped. I did not know what she liked, really:). I found this set of birthday stamps by scrappy cat in my drawer. I do not think many of them had ever seen ink so they were quite happy! I even chose not to color the image, just to add a hint of silver here and there. The papers are all scraps from my stash. I know the black paper is from the DCWV glitter stack.

EXCITING NEWS!!!

A friend of mine, Cassandra, asked me months ago how I felt about starting a digi shop with her. She has known for a long time that I love to draw, sketch, doodle (whatever you want to call it) for years. We brainstormed, waited, laughed off issues, played around, researched, and finally decided on the route we wanted to go. Here goes: lol .. and forgive me ahead of time if I am confusing ... I am excited and nervous all in one!
We are BOTH opening up our own digi shops. From there we are also opeining a challenge blog where we will host challenges every 2 weeks, give freebies and have much more fun planned. This is all new to us, like I said, but we are ready, have prepared ourselves and are working together to make this something wonderful and fun for you! You Hooo!!!

This card was made for the color challenge on Cute Card Thursday this week. I used some 'NEW' and So cute digi images from Doodle Street to create this card. The cloud, owl, mushrooms and sentiment can be used separately or together like I chose to do. I love the fact that you can re size digi images to fit any of your projects.. making them very versatile.
