Hello everyone!
I have had a very busy day, but made sure I had time to create
for World Card Making Day!
I think this is one of the few ones I have actually been able to create for...
We left the house this morning at 9 am.
I took my images and markers with me to dance while the kids
rehearsed for the Nutcracker, and colored away!
After we got home (close to 1:30 pm) I cleaned up and waited
on my in-laws to visit. AFTER they left I started dinner...
THEN I was able to create a few CAS cards while the sauce is simmering.
(I am cooking homemade Beefaroni tonight. Yuumm!)
My first card features the
Fresh Brewed Designs Rubber Stamp:
My sister knits and when we both first started our blogs,
I helped her name hers. This was around 6 years ago?
Wow, where has the time gone?!?
Anyway, I named hers I'll knit you my pretty and your little dog too!
We both love Wizard of OZ, so I found it to be very fitting for her :-)
When I was coloring this image, that is all I could think about,
so I came home and created this sentiment to go with the image. :-)
I think my sister (Becky) would approve :-D
Challenges:
**********************************************************
My next card showcases my new Christmas color combo obsession.
I went to Hobby Lobby and saw their new ornament display... then saw this
photo posted to their facebook page a week or so ago:
Um... LOVE!!!
Then I saw the challenge at DARING CARDMAKERS
was hosting a challenge using these very colors! YAY!!!
For this card, I colored up my
Fresh Brewed Designs Rubber Stamp:
Don't you just LOVE this color combo?!?
I know I do! :-)
Challenges:
Christmas Stampin' All Year Long - Lots of Snowflakes
*Both cards feature paper from the paper studio Christmas Basics 6x6 paper stack.
*Images were colored using prismacolor markers, copic markers, and sharpie markers.
