Happy Hi!

Good Morning Everyone!
Yesterday was so beautiful here, I almost forgot it was a Monday.
My hubby was home, the kids completed their schoolwork early, I was able to clean the house...
So I am not dreading today like I normally am :)) hehehe!
I was able to create a simple little card for you today.
This card features the FBD rubber stamp:
Hello Girlfriend and the rubber sentiment: Dropping By
The white and black cardstock are by papertrey inc, the grey is by the paper company, and
the orange is a scrap piece. The ottoman was pieced using a distressed orange paper from the 6x6 stack: Basic Grey ambrosia. I stamped the image using momento ink and colored it using copic, prismacolor and sharpie markers.

Thank YOU for dropping by today.
Have a wonderful Tuesday

Friends are never far away ...

Good Morning!
I am here today with a fun post.
I was so happy that I was given the chance to be featured on the
I had created a few fun school themed projects and won -I never win! :))
I want to thank F&F and their team for all of their hard work, all they do to spread smiles through
their creative and inspirational posts, and for the chance to be featured today.

Now I am terrible at write ups, so please don't read mine! HAHAHA!!!

The theme for this week is:
or travel theme

For my project I used the
I'll Take Mine To Go FBD Rubber Stamp

I admit, I was a little thrown off by the challenge.
Trip around the world, what will I create?
AND it's for  fussy and fancy - I knew I had to add
some fussy and fancy things to my card.
hmmmm..
Then I found this fun paper. I loved the bus stop sign and the other elements hidden on it. I cut the shape on my cricut, then I chose to highlight part of the paper using the spotlight technique. The girl
is fussy cut and placed on the card where the fun travel themed paper is still very visible and keeps with the theme. For the extra fancy part, I chose some very rich and lovely ribbons. That wood grain ribbon has been a hoarded favorite of mine for quite some time now :)

Thank you for stopping by today, and again, thank you  Fussy and Fancy for the feature!

Hello Friend

Hi everyone!
This weeks FBChallenge is to create ANY PROJECT USING A RUBBER STAMP - no digis allowed. and since I dropped the ball and did not have a card for you Wednesday, this is to make up for it!

This simple little card took me longer to create than some of my not so simple cards, so please be kind!
I am not 100% happy with this card. It is eh in my book, hahaha!!! but I still like the way it feels so soft and warm and inviting. Reminds me of a late Fall evening. ANYWAY - I decided to stamp on fabric. I chose an old pillowcase, cut it and frayed the edges, stamped and colored it.. about 4 or 5 times before I got this one done :D. Not to self: MARKERS BLEED ON FABRIC, even if you stay WAY FAR AWAY from the lines, it travels on and on :D HAHAHA!!!

Don't forget it is almost time  for another fun and exciting Fresh Brewed Designs blog hop.
We have so much fun to share with you starting Saturday morning at 7 AM!!!
The hop will last through the weekend and end Monday at midnight.
Not only is our Hop this weekend, my little man turns 8! so to celebrate his birthday week, we have several digi sections 40% off in the shop until Aug 20. Guy Thing, Boys, Tommy, Bugs, Animals, Elephants, Owls... all 40% off!!! stop by and check them out! Fresh Brewed Designs Shop

We will be hosting ANOTHER facebook event and party starting the 1st of August, but you can go ahead and start following by going HERE

This week at Freshly Brewed Challenges we are
asking to see your creations using anything with
The DT has some super yummy examples created for you.
I hope you will stop by and check it out!

For my card I chose to use the Fun Foods Digital Stamp called

I created this adorable little fry box for todays challenge
This fry box is about the same size as a large fry at your fave fast food place
*maybe a medium... ??
Anyway :) it is super cute and I found the template here at SCS

The image is so simple and sweet.
I was able to easily cut it out and layer it to give it depth and dimension.
Doesn't it look all cute, filled with salty hot fries? Yum!!!

I can see these being really cute for a party favor or added to a gift basket or fill it with ketchup packets and gift cards for the french  fry obsessed person in your life. So many fun things it can be used for!!!

here is how it looks without the fun paper inside.

I have recently been asked  why my digis are SO BIG!
hahaha. I do save them as larger files at a high resolution so that they are clearer when they are printed. It is all for you, I promise! :D If they were not a good resolution I would not have been able to make the digi HUGE so I could use the fries to come out of my fry box I created :)) SEE - a win win right?

Thank you for stopping by!

 Have a blessed day!

Gettin Sketchy With It

Hi!!!
I have two cards to share with you today. Both cards are featuring sketch challenges I have NEVER participated in as of yet ... so I am pretty proud of myself :)

The first is featuring the digital stamp: Triple Scoop
She LOVES her yarn I tell ya :-) I had a lot of fun with this card.
There is just something about orange and pink that just makes me happy. :-)

SEE! orange + pink = Happy
She was given her card home thanks to the  Feeling Sketchy week 13 sketch

Next up is a card I created using the NEWLY RELEASED RUBBER STAMP

The sentiment is hard to see. It says enjoy your day :) the sentiment stamp is from a small stampendous set

I took this stamp (which is actually two girls together) cut and removed her friend from her (mean I know)
and added this little chipboard button heart. I sometimes feel like when I use too many embellies that my card looks like a thrift store threw up on it. I am not good at adding lots of flowers and blingage and buttons and ribbons altogether like some people I know *cough* Sheryl (just to name one) But I do think this one flows pretty well. I had fun adding the YEARS old forgotten chipboard embellies. Hope you like it too :)

This card was created for the Seems a little Sketchy sketch #16

This next project I am sharing is something I made for my dad for Father's Day. My dad has just started pastoring his own church and I am so excited for and so proud of him.  He loves God like no one I have ever seen. He has a hunger to reach out and help those in need and to save the lost. He wants to help those that are pushed aside and neglected. He looks at everyone with the love of Jesus.
I am so blessed to have him as my daddy.

He is starting out with.. well...  nothing. Conference was able to donate chairs, a pulpit and a communion table. We have water, working bathrooms and a roof over our heads. THAT is a blessing!!! We do not have but are looking for sound equipment. Sometimes the lights (or one in particular) do not work, lol! But God is providing and we are trusting. He has blessed us with a building and we are praising him for that. God brought him to and past several other buildings before he told my dad THIS is the one. The building we are in was once a local bar. We have to gut it and clean it out and get alot of things done to get it ready, but we have had two church services in one of the smaller areas. We are working to make the larger back room the sanctuary. The church sign should be ready this week. That is exciting. People will get to see that it is actually a church. :) Enough blabbering from me. I said all of this to ask you to please be in prayer for the Crossfire Pentecostal Holiness Church. God is planning great things and we are getting prepared for it. Thank you so much!!!

*** We are having a really special deal on some Fresh Brewed Designs digis as a fund raiser. We know God will provide all we need. I thought it would be nice if I had a way for you to help us get started and chose a few categories of the shop to put on sale at an awesome price for. It is a win win all around :). All proceeds of your purchase will go to the church.
 22 Owl digis for $15
20 FUN FOODS digis for $15
13 ELEPHANT DIGIS for $10

LOTS of LOVE!

Hello Crafty Friend

Happy Monday everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful Weekend... and for some of us it is still going on today!
(woohoo for a 3 day weekend!!!)

I created this card over the weekend. It is my first time creating a stair step card. I wish I had been a bit more creative with it :D it is sort of plain, but still 'works'. I can picture butterflies peeking / springing out from the stair step behind the main image :)  Maybe Next time.

This card was created using the Fresh Brewed Designs Rubber Stamp E(spresso) Mail. She was colored with prismacolor markers and stamped with momento ink. I used a thick Bazzil textured cardstock for the base, papertrey inc cardstock for the image, and designer paper by BasicGrey: Ambrosia that was RAKed to me by my lovely friend Linda. The sentiment stamp was a gift from Stacy. It is from the Crafty Sprouts set: Lets go Blog Hopping.

Speaking of blog hopping...
Don't forget our BLOG HOP is coming up this Saturday!
We will be releasing RUBBAH and have lots of fun things to share with you!

Can I Have Your Number?

HEHEHE!!!

We are cooking up some RED HOT creations at Freshly Brewed Challenges this week. Hop on over and check it out / play along!

ok, back to my hehehehe~ This card is one I had fun creating. It is simple but not simple at the same time. I had some designer paper that had die cuts out of some of the flowers, so I thought it would look really pretty with the red peeking through. This phone just kept saying pick me pick me... so I did... and then I was online looking up lame pick up lines praying I did not get a virus at some of the sites, hahah!
All in all... I still went back to the one thing I thought of to start with... "Can I Have Your Number?"
and the inside says "Can I have it?"... repeatedly. I took the card and showed my husband who immediately burst out laughing. I only know this quote because of him... he only knows it because of people he works with that showed it to him.... I have not seen or heard this quote in years... but, still, it popped in my head when I was creating this card. IF you now what this is from... at least say that you do so I am not the only crazy one out there :D HAHAHAHAHA!

The image is a Fresh Brewed Designs rubber stamp: Hello
I fussy cut the image and attached it to a clear acrylic piece I cut
with a scalloped oval spellbidners diecut.
Big Hugs! Lots of Love! and Many Smiles to you today.

warm hugs

Hello everyone!
I know that we are all happy because it is FRIDAY!
We have lots LOTS lots planned for this weekend. I am already tired from just thinking about it :D

We are also going expecting cooler weather for the weekend, so at least the kids will not be HOT all decked out in their costumes :) In honor of this cooler weather, I created a WARM card. This card is featuring most RAKED items. The paper, sentiment stamp (from stamping bella), embossed paper, and lace were all separately sent to me by some different friends. Yes, I was able to use 4 RAKed items :D They all go beautifully together, don't you think?

The paper has an iridescent look to it and is beautiful in the light.

This card was created using the Fresh Brewed Designs Rubber Stamp La Dolce Vita
and was inspired by the sketch at Eat Sleep Stamp

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a blessed weekend.
Sending lots of smiles and WARM HUGS

I'll Take Mine TO GO please!!!

Good morning!
Its FRIDAY!!! WOOT WOOT!!
I know you are all as excited as I am. I feel like I have been going and going and going... and will still be going all weekend :) but look forward to those little breaks and moments where I can just sit down and relax. Those are few and far between these days with school and dance... I know you all know what I am talking about. :) But at the same time I would not have it any other way :D

I created a fun card for you using my

I had a lot of fun making this card. I had some scrap papertrey inc cardstock that was just sitting on my table, and some walnut ink stain that I gave my mom for her bday for her crafting goodness, but it did not work on her projects, so I thought hmm... before I take it back, let me see what this stuff does. I admit that at first I was not loving it and it did not do what I THOUGHT it would, but I need a slightly slicker paper for that maybe? It did create this deep leathery looking band. I spritzed it with the terracotta and java inks then a splash of shimmerz spritz. While it was wet I smooshed the heck out of it! Crumple crumple wiggle and smash!!! Then I took some ink (my mom found for me a few bdays ago that is called Java and smells like coffee! love!!!) to distress the crumpled edges.

The TO GO Vita Coffee holder was super simple. It is a 4 x 6 piece of cardstock scored at 1/2 inch, 2 inches, and 3 1/2 inches. I then took an oval nestie to create the window, ran it through the cuttlebug with a cute embossing folder, used the yummy java ink to distress and then used a strong glue to add it to the card base!

Very fun and really honestly easy card to create! :)

Speaking of coffee ..

All Fresh Brewed Designs coffee themed digis and rubber stamps are on sale until tomorrow only.
Saturday night - midnight- the sale is off! :(
Stop by today before you miss out!
We also have some NEW spooky fun digis released. Check out the HOT OUT OF THE PRESS section.

and one more thing...
The MOST IMPORTANT part of this post..
This song has touched my heart in such a big way... and God laid it on my heart to share it with you!
There have been many days I have felt like I do not deserve Gods love. I feel like I have not spent as much time with him as I should. I have not spent as much time praying and getting to know him like I should. I NEED to make time and I NEED him more than anything.. but satan slips in his two cents and he says .. why? Why in the world would God love you? What have you done for him? What is so important about you that would make him say ... yes. I am proud of you. That is my child? And I hang my head and think. Nothing. I have done nothing GREAT. I am not  who I want to be or who my heart tells me I can be. I know I can be better... but that sneaky little voice still slides in and tells me I dont have time. I had a bad day and am not worthy of being in Gods presence.
Well, guess what? God is not that kind of God.
HE LOVES ME! For ME! and he loves YOU for YOU!!!
He made us all and has a special reason and purpose for each of us. If for now that means that I am to raise my children, teach them, drive them around... that is my job! Nothing is too big or too small in Gods eyes as long as we are doing it all for his glory! On the days we don't feel worthy. Pray harder. On the days we cant hear him or don't feel like smiling. Sing his praises louder. God is with us and he loves us more than we could EVER EVER EVER imagine. HE has a SPECIAL plan and purpose for each of us.
PLEASE watch this video.
God placed it on my heart for ME and told me to share it with  YOU

Hello Friend!

I have had this post ready (in my head) for DAYS but still can not seem to get time to stop and add it to my blog. A very dear and sweet friend of mine, Kelly, sent me a lovely birthday gift just around a week ago. I am so glad it came before all the icky hail and rain storms!!! I always feel funny receiving gifts, for some reason guilt takes over. I love to get and send gifts, so I have been trying to focus more on that and that the person WANTED to get it for me. I am sure Kelly did not grumble and fuss and mumble putting the package together :D lol, it was out of love. And that touched me very deeply. She said prior to my receiving this package that it reminded her of me. When I peeked inside the box I had to laugh!!! I LOVE it and she has no idea how much it is "ME"!!! When I was a teenager I LOVED leopard / animal print. My husband took me on a date... and I wore a full leopard print suit. Yes, imagine that... and shivver thinking WHAT!?!?! But I was much prettier and thinner and totally pulled it off then ;) HAHAHA!!! I even had someone stop me and ask me if I was one of the Rockette dancers that were in town dancing at the Palace Theatre. Man (sigh) those were the days! Now I like cheesecake and pasta too much to care... or I do care... but I still don't try to produce results. ANYWAY!!! This gift brought back lots of wonderful fun memories of my 'younger days' and was the perfect birthday gift!
Thank you SO very much Kelly girl. you know I love you!!!
Here is a pic of me with my lovely new purse (and with my new haircut and color ~ yes, I am on my way back to blonde!!!)

I also have a card to share with you today. Today is the last day of our picture inspiration challenge at Freshly Brewed Challenges. The challenge (for my inspiration) was purple and green. I used my rubber stamp: I'll take mine to go and scrap papers from previous projects to create this card.

I hope to see you back tomorrow for the new FBChallenge AND the D.I.V.A.S blog hop!!!

WOOOHOOO!!!

Have a BEAUTIFUL day!!!
