Pretty in Pink TGF style

Good afternoon. We are back in school and the kids are just LOVING IT! NOT!! lol. Whew the battles we have had today over schoolwork! :( I hope tomorrow will be a little better. I am with them though, the break was fun, but tooooo short!


I created this card using the TGF digi Charlotte. The challenges include Oh Alice: MAD Monochromatic and Distressed and Eat Sleep Stamp: Sketch Stamp Something: Pink

I've Been Framed!!!

Good Morning!
I hope you have all had a lovely weekend. My husband and I took the kids to a local (almost local) aquarium and had a wonderful day. The weather has been so warm and .. well.. perfect. I have been spoiled!

Last night .... well, the past few nights ... my mojo has been missing. I gave up and went around to 'visit' some friends blogs. I then caved in and decided to break through and make a card. I went with the Oh Alice challenge and really had a blast creating this card. I used one of my Fresh Brewed Designs images, DRINK ME ALICE. I still felt it was missing something? But the more I looked for something to add, the less I found. I decided to keep the embellishments to a minimum and added the ripped areas and the glass beads at the last minute. I really like the look of the glass beads. I found the frame in my photo editing software and printed and cut it out to fit my digi. I recycled and used the wire inside an old scrap of wired ribbon to 'hang' my picture on my 'wall'.

Lucky .... Red?

Good Morning!
I have two cards to share with you today. The first is the one I created for the Oh Alice challenge: Painting the Roses Red ... and blue and purple. I thought those colors were so rich and perfect for the Queen! I colored her up with my prismacolor markers and glitter pens. I used DS American Crafts Cardstock, a deep blue satin ribbon, rhinestones, foam and paper piercing to complete the card.

For my second card I used another of my new images ShamROCK Rocks. :)
He is rockin it out in his sparkly cool shades and his rocin guitar. I had a lot of fun creating this card. Fresh Brewed Designs is the sponsor this week for Crafty Creations. The challenge is to use one color .. as many shades as you want ... but only one color. Go check it out.. you only have a few days left!!!
